Well, I didn't get the job. Where I am though is going better though. Things have been a little crazy today but not too bad. It's beginning to look up.

"Don't expect a Spanish inquisition" I just finished Sliding Doors a little while ago. Definately a keeper.
Probably the worst part of having a sunburn is the peeling afterwards. Especially if you burn up in your hairline.
I put in my resume today for a small local bank. My step-dad heard yesterday that they're looking for a new teller. My interview is tomorrow at 1:15. If I don't get this job, it's going to make working at Bank One a lot harder.
UPDATE: The interview went well. They (the HR lady and the teller supervisor) asked me questions about my work history and told me a lot about the positions (there are 2 open) and some benefits. I'll know by the end of next week.

For those of you that know Brad and Adrienne Bourgeois, they had their first child yesterday! Stephen Paul was born at 3:21 yesterday afternoon weighing 7lb 10 oz (much smaller to our surprise) and 20 inches long. Yay for Brad and Aigee!

As I was watching some "new classics" this weekend, I made a few connections.

For the first time this summer, I went to lay out at the pool with some friends. I come home and my back, shoulders and backs of my legs are a tad red. Oh, where is the aloe?
1. Do you remember your first best friend? Who was it? Lindsey Rhinehart. We were about in the 2nd grade and she lived across and down the street from me in a huge 2-story house and she had Annie hair.
2. Are you still in touch with this person? I think our last contact was early high school. They moved away around fourth or fifth grade. I have no idea how or where she is now. Maybe she'll google her name and find me.
3. Do you have a current close friend? I have several...Ashley, Rhea, Jessica, Adrienne, Melody, Raonna.

While I was in the bathtub this evening, I was thinking about how I can remember the capitals of almost all 50 states. I learned it in like 4th or 5th grade and never forgot it. Nor the Preamble to the constitution (which I then proceeded to recite word-for-word in my head). And then I remembered a joke. Ya know, the one about the opposite of progress is congress? Well...what's the opposite of constitution?
laid (or is it lain?) in the bathtub while letting all of the water out? It's highly opressive; I don't recommend it.
Wow. We have three really large business customers and all three of those businesses paid their employees today. It was awful. I'm sure Christin and the Big Swede can sympathize with me on this. after about 10 this morning the lobby was never empty. I was working in a window all day, only got 20 minutes to eat a cold burger, fries and a watered down Coke, and the people just kept coming. I came home, ate dinner, took a long bath, and now going to watch some TV. This long weekend is well deserved.
