Commissioner Brooks: Political Grandstanding on Annexation

County Commissioner John Allen Brooks characterized as "Ill-conceived & Ill-timed" the upcoming annexation by the City of land parcels near Hixson and B.F.N.C. ("Near Collegedale").

Couple things:

1. As Chattarati reported, the annexation was planned & ratified by the City, Hamilton County and surrounding municipalities in addition to being overseen by the State & its urban growth boundaries for Chattanooga.

2. John Allen Brooks doesn't actually have any say in the annexation, it's a City matter not a County one.

So why is he complaining?
