Alleia Restaurant Chattanooga, TN
Two posts in one day? I wanted to mention Daniel Lindley's new Italian-ish restaurant opening on Main Street: Alleia. Daniel was gracious enough to give me a tour a couple weeks back and the restaurant design, by the always-compelling & creative Rodney @ Revival, looks absolutely fantastic. Open oven(s), a 30 foot communal table, Bevolo gas lamps and an identity inspired by Gramercy Park Hotel. It's a much needed culinary addition to the Southside of Chattanooga and I can't wait to try it out in a few weeks.
In addition to their website, visit Alleia on Facebook.

So funny you posted this today. I passed by there on my way home and thought "it's about time to call them and set up a tour to write up on Chattarati."
You remain the Godfather of the Chattatubes.

Dined tonight with a friend at Alleia. The service was excellent and the food outstanding. We found the two salads we had very expertly done. The pumpkin tortelli was nice but the weakest of the dishes. The wood oven baked trout was wonderful, and we ended the meal with a basil gelato that was a perfect ending to the meal. We highly recommend Alleia ....great food in a fabulous setting.
