Will Google Street View Please Hurry Up & Add Chattanooga?

So today I decided to check in on Google Street view and to my surprise they've added dozens of more locations, including my old house in Grass Valley, California, which, mind you, is about 20 minutes outside of town (a town of 10K) in the boonies. Why Google has gone there, but hasn't added Chattanooga, is beyond me.

I swear I saw their car driving through st elmo back in early may. Funky round aparatus on top of some fairly anonymous car. I wonder how long the processing takes?

No kidding, right? I had street view of where I went yesterday in Cheatham County, up to the turn off Hwy 12.

But if Rob saw the car here, it can only be a matter of time.

Lower cost to cover California versus TN?

Scratch that last comment. Should've clicked through first. Yep, lots of non-CA in there.

might have been the mapjack.com car?

Yes! they have already been through here. One of the cars with its apparatus passed right by us in Portland, OR...so when I saw the same appartus atop a car parked in the KFC parking lot on Broad St, I accosted the man and grilled him for information because it fascinates me. This was SEVERAL months ago so i keep expecting to see it up and running on their site. Very exciting stuff :)

Just returned from some time in Edinburgh Scotland... the Google view car I saw there last Tuesday (I think it was, right in front of the seminary) was VERY well marked... black car with big black 360 camera on top, with Google emblems on both sides.
