Andy Berke Announces State Senate Campaign

In what will be (if he wins) a breath of fresh air (what wouldn't be) in the State Senate, Andy Berke has announced that he's running for Ward Crutchfield's seat, all but ending Missy O'Shea's hopes of a senate run of her own.

For those of you in St. Elmo, Andy Berke will be speaking to the Community Association of History St. Elmo on September 10th at 7 pm at the Old Fire Hall.

Few things for Mr. Berke as he embarks on his campaign:

* Stay away from reps for companies with names beginning with the "E-" prefix
* Corruption is the kudzu of Nashville (and politics); don't let it grow on you
* My vote costs one hug
* All I ask is that in whatever small way you can mess with the economy, you don't
