The Chattanooga Waltz

Somebody in Memphis needs to liveblog Ward Crutchfield's trial. Joe, I hope you're all over this in terms of coverage, because it is beautiful.

Gotta give Ron points for being skillful politician. He sees your homeless committee and raises you another. Manny has finally gone full-blown sycophant, which is depressing. I know what will cheer me up.

If I could go to Memphis, I would. As it is, I'll be doing what I can from here, and thanks for thinking of me.

I don't want to cast any slant on the judicial process, but keep in mind that both the bagman, Charles Love, and the other recipient of Love's cash payments, Chris Newton, pleaded guilty quite some time ago. And no other Waltzer has been found innocent.

And the G-men have tape.
