The iPhone Cometh
I haven't had technolust like this since... the Handspring Visor? Apple has updated their website with what looks like hours of video footage of all the ins and outs of the iPhone. The interface looks absolutely stunning. Engadget is also reporting that AT&T has gone and done some crazy upgrade to their EDGE network, with customers reporting speeds of over 200kbs.
I've called twice now, and the Cingular/AT&T store at the new Tiftonia Wal-Mart will have iPhones in stock, ready for purchase at 6 pm. I'll be there. Just to look.
also: lots of interweb goodness to the right in "Bury The Lede" (still haven't gotten the RSS feeds worked out)

I understand that technolust, but these words from Mike Metzger brought me down to earth. I posted them by asking the question, "What might the iphone undo?"
I wish I wrote this, but Mike's thoughts on this are tight.

We had a Handspring Visor, with the phone attachment. We were cutting edge.
