"Land of the Lost indeed."

That Brit - he so funny!

For real though, you rock man. This is great culture-jacking.

I find it truly bizarrre that dude can't say your name.

I'm dang glad it wasn't Shepherd Smith, who looks and talks like some kind of plastic cyborg. I swear he's all circa 1999 CGI. I may have turned them down had they said it was going to run on his show.

Go Joe-zee-uh! So what's the Coptix hit count up to since the story hit?

Posted by: Currie at April 5, 2007 11:55 PM

Way to go. Any and all protestations to the contrary, the "official" word is now that the Wonksters and KosKids are gullible idiots.

And how exactly does one mispronounce "Josiah"? I mean come on.

Posted by: ryan at April 6, 2007 9:56 AM

Joseeeeah! Sorry, but that's what I'm calling you from now on.

Posted by: Nick at April 6, 2007 10:38 AM

Joseah so apparently you're a terrorist..?

Posted by: wholeton at April 6, 2007 11:06 AM

Glad to see that Josiah finally made national news. We all, in our gut, knew it would happen at some point.

Posted by: Carrie at April 6, 2007 11:25 AM

what the heck, I"ve never heard anyone pronounce "josiah" like that. But I guess you've been living with that name for a lot longer than my son.

Posted by: katiek at April 6, 2007 3:16 PM

You also got yourself a wikipedia entry not (as far as I know) entered by anyone at Coptix. Good show.

Posted by: Ed at April 6, 2007 8:44 PM

Awesome. I edit on wikipedia pretty regularly (mostly on Chattanooga and Chattanooga history pages), but I've refrained from adding a Coptix page a la "vanity" pages. Nice to finally have one. I don't recognize any of the accounts who edited it.

"Land of the lost indeed!" Bravo!

Posted by: Lowen at April 7, 2007 12:48 AM

Nice.

Let's check your scorecard of coverage:

1. Tom Griscom's Chattanooga Times Free Press
2. The Moonie Washington Times
3. Fox News
4. Michelle Malkin

I don't think that's something you want to brag about. You're the new darling of the radical right's propaganda wing. And Coptix used to be such a hip little software shop.

Posted by: Nick at April 7, 2007 11:26 AM

What, no shout-out to UnBeige? And it's not a software shop, dangit.

Posted by: Josiah at April 7, 2007 12:39 PM

Reddit. Digg. And let's not forget all of the people who fell for it (apparently a LOT). Some are still even still blogging about it and crying conspiracy. LOL

JoeZeeRa Roe? ...bummer on the proNounSeeAtion.

Still not as bad as Jan (instead of Ian) Goodman winning runner up in the national barista competition.
