Tomorrow Wendell Berry May End Me
Tomorrow morning Andy & I are giving a presentation to The Fellowship of Southern Writers of their new website along with its Fellowship-members-only discussion forum.
Tonight was the wonderful "Faces and Stories: A Portrait of Southern Writers" exhibit of Curt Richter's photography (which can be seen all over The Fellowship's website) at The Tanner Hill gallery.
Intimidating only begins to describe it. I did get a chance to sit in Walker Percy's chair.
I'm just praying that tomorrow Wendell Berry doesn't curse me for being implicated in the rape of nature.

Have you read his essays on why he abstains from using a computer. Wonderful, contrarian, and impractical. Such a hard thing...

Very cool Josiah. I wish I could meet Wendell Berry and be pronounced anathema in person for my electronic heresy. You are a Southern gentleman and scholar, Sir, even if you were so unfortunate as to have grown up in California.
