With A Ring in Their Snouts
From the New York Times: Holocaust Deniers and Skeptics have gathered in Iran for a conference to "discuss their theories about whether six million Jews were indeed killed by the Nazis during World War II and whether gas chambers existed."
David Duke was one of the speakers.
It's always fascinating to see how powerful the allure of Western juridical and academic practices actually is: whether it's the Soviet Union aping our courts with their show trials or Iran attempting to dignify the crudest anti-Semitism with a "conference" of "intellectuals" delivering "research papers," they betray their desire for our moral approval even when they seem to be most obviously courting our disgust. But I'm tired of these compliments from vice to virtue. It'd be far better if they'd just come out of the closet and stage an annual "Crush that Jew egg!" festival.
