Sufjan Stevens Star of Wonder

I've listened to the new Sufjan Christmas albums a dozen times or so now. Please, everyone, go here, click on disk 5, and check out the song Star of Wonder starting around the 21 minute mark. It's incredible. Combined with the last two songs on the album, "Holy, Holy, Holy" and "The Winter Solstice" it makes for the best 20 minutes of music I've heard in a long time.

Also, Henry is the cutest baby ever. As Lang put it, he's like a mini Winston Churchill. In fact, he's so striking, I've got to figure out a way to use him in some Coptix advert. Hmmm, Christmas card? A pic of Henry with the tagline: "Coptix: we're like a miniature Winston Churchill in a Bear Costume."

Dang. I think that's it.

I don't even know who Henry is, but I'd buy whatever Coptix is selling with that kind of tag and image.

Speaking of parting with cold hard cash, Sufjan has been pre-ordered by me as of today.

I was just streaming that album this afternoon and Star of Wonder really jumped out at me as well. I too bit the bullet and pre-ordered today. Suflicious!

"Madam, I may be dressed in a bear costume, but you are ugly. Tomorrow I will be dressed in something less demeaning, but you will still be ugly."

Holy crap. This is amazing. I love "Did I Make You Cry On Christmas Day? (Well, You Deserved It!)".
