Heading South

April and I are heading out to Montgomery in a couple of hours for Thanksgiving. We'll be visiting with her grandparents. I'll hopefully be able to read all of the new Martin Amis novel, House of Meetings, while I'm there.

On the way back we're anticipating a visit with Brae, Matt, and his family. I do believe Matt & Brae deserve some type of punishment for that picture.

Narcissism: Megan uploaded the pictures she made for my birthday. They're interesting. Funny I think.

Had a little party for Bethany last night at Lang & Charity's. Cracked open a bottle of Lava Cap Cab Sauv we'd been saving. It. Was. Incredible.

Aaron Mesh's first piece for the Willamette Week is out. It's a short blurb on Robert Altman's passing. I can't wait for The Pulse to begin syndicating Aaron's columns. Nothing against the guy filling Aaron's shoes in the interim, but only Aaron is Aaron.

I'm signing off for a few days. Last time I checked there were no open wifi routers in April's grandparents neighborhood. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
