Stray Dog Designs

Stray Dog Designs
It's been a long time coming (the site and the press release) but we finished up a website for home furnishing and accessories company Stray Dog Designs in the last few days.

The project was a lot of fun in the sense that we were able to get one of the companies founders, Jane, to provide us with some original artwork, plus we were given a great deal of creative freedom to do some cool stuff (IMO) with the About Us and Press sections. Do check out the press section; it's got some cool lightbox technology going on.

I really like their work, in particular the lighting and (interestingly) their wastebaskets. I'm surprised to find myself saying it, but their wastebaskets are positively tasty. They look like something out of the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

Lovely eye candy! Would you even consider paying $85 for a waste basket though?
Nice site, dig the color scheme!

Ya, I think they're what you call "high-end".

We could all use high end waste baskets... I mean there is nothing more important that making sure that our waste is in a proper and respectable recepticle. I feel like i have done a giant disservice to my trash of chicken scraps, junk mail, and triscuit boxes by leaving them in a plain white rubbermaid 'trash can.' I don't know how I sleep at night...
