New Coptix Website

Coptix
We rolled the new Coptix site live a few days ago and since then we've been working out some bugs, tweaking the design etc. trying to get it just right.

We're pretty happy with it.

Our plans are to eventually have an extended portfolio with dozens of other sites on there for folks to view. We slimmed down the contributors section (largely because there was no sane way to show 18 employee profiles), but it's still fun.

Have no fear, Beardtopia and a few other 'topias will be returning.

There's a bug in Safari that makes the flash flickr behind the drawer. Check it out for yourself. If you can find the solution (we can't) I'll give you $50. One way or another, we're redoing the nav to javascript.

Hacking the drawer to work in all browsers was a complete pain, nevermind getting it to stick to the top of the window when you scroll. I've seen pieces of the drawer implemented elsewhere, but never to the extent that we did it. Andy & James deserves big kudos for that.

Finally, Justin Kropp was responsible for designing the site and putting up with all my nitpicking. He's a real hero.

If you find any bugs, do let me know. It's hard to catch everything.
