Sufjan Stevens & The Pussycat Dolls
Funnier than the Dolly Parton cover of Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven would be Sufjan covering the "sexiest" songs in pop music. Think Sufjan doing Barry White's "I Can't Get Enough of Your Love, Babe" or Nelly's "Hot in Here".
Mesh suggested "The Thong Song" by Sisqo, Julian "When I Think About You I Touch Myself" by The Divinyls, and Micah "Underneath Your Clothes" by Shakira.
Good ideas all, but we all need to think about Sufjan live, and the troupe surrounding him. This in mind, I can think of no group better than the mod-burlesque troupe The Pussycat Dolls in full Illinoisemaker attire, with whatever wardrobe modifcations might be necessary. Have no fear hipsters, Shara Worden can stay.
Any other suggestions on songs Suffie should cover?

You could slow it down with a little "Endless Summer Nights" by Richard Marx.

What if, instead of sexy songs, Sufjan covered songs about sex? Then he could do Van Halen's "Hot for Teacher," with the glockenspiel mimicking Alex Van Halen's drumming.

How about "Let the music play" by Shannon?

"My Humps" by the Black Eyed Peas, with the Danielson girls singing back-up.
