The Problem With Your Intellectual Elitism is That It's Not Intellectual

So rumor has it Doodlepost is going to be featured weekly in The Pulse, if you don't like a doodle you can press fast fo'ward, or well, pick a diff image. I don't understand the details, but the whole thing involves some new javascript / css whizbangery Ron & Huffine dreamed up, Bo & Luke style, the internets their General Lee.

Been diggin' on the new Google Calendar. April and I have already gotten sync'd up. In many ways, this represents the solution for the last mile problem here at The Coptix Institute for Advanced Medicated Powder Research & Dutifully Praying for The Return of Rivers Cuomo.

We made the switch, en masse. All except for El Jefe, who stalwartly refused to taste that most succulent of fruits. This left us with us with an information gap. The head of the CXchicken divorced from its body, neither knowing the where and when of the other. iCal, as a internal coordination and scheduling tool, has a potency equal to its adoption.

But Google Cal, white horse and all, has solved this problem. iCal subscribes to gCal, and gCals can subscribe to other gCals. You can even set permissions for one person to edit another's gCal. I'll no longer be able to say "I didn't know" or even "I forgot", because April put it, right there, in my calendar, with an alarm.

I for one welcome our new Google Overlords.
