I Gain +10 Dork
As if my father weren't worried enough already...
I figured I ought to give a little update as to my progress in World of Warcraft. I'm now up to lvl 55, which leaves me 5 more levels to go until I hit the current level cap of 60.
I killed my first dragon last weekend, the Shade of Eranikus in the Temple of Atal'Hakkar. "Singlehandedly" I say (which completely isn't true), because my entire group was killed by the Dragon, including myself, but I was able to "ankh" (resurrect) and hit him with a final shock to drop him, then mana up and "res" the rest of my group FTW (for the win).
Yes, I was really pumped. Yes, I realize what a dork all of this makes me. Hey, it may get me a job someday.
The "Catacombs" guild topped out at around 20 players, and we decided to merge with another guild, Eyvindr (comprised of mostly friends, family, and college students in Oregon), in lieu of the need for preparing for "End Game" raids/content/quests etc. The merge went rather smoothly, except for certain people dissapearing with no notice. Crabby rolled a character on Kil'Jaeden (our server) the other day as has joined up.
So basically, once you hit lvl 60 and start "running" the higher level dungeons, you simply have to have a minimum of 20 friends all working together. Some of them, like Molton Core, require a minimum of 40 people to do a "full run".
I've only seen most of these places in pictures, you know, like Antarctica, and I likely wont see them for good while. My first step in getting there is to complete my first Tier 0 epic set, The Elements, and consequently collect gear from PvP. I'll probably roll a priest sometime soon, since they're the most "in deman" classes in the game (most folks want to be rogues or warriors, natch).
All that to say, I'll likely hit lvl 60 in a month or so. I average about a level a week, since I only really play late Fridays and during the day on Saturday. I'll occasionally sneak 30 minutes in here and there, but I've just got too much else to do.

Wow Josiah. And I thought I was a dweeb. But I see now that you're Farmer Ted, and I'm Jake Ryan (relatively speaking.)

Pathetic...and alluring.

Are you sure you're married? I see those McDonald's coffee commercials and think "Josiah needs a cup..."
That said, don't ever let me install that cocaine on my machine or I'd surly lose my family.

Hey Josiah, there are a few Catacombians on the Gilneas server, namely Steele, Zach, Jared, Timmy, and myself. I'm thinking about maybe starting a character on Kil'Jaeden so I can play with/against you guys.
