The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins & The Hutterites (an ode for Julian Wierenga)

I thought surely I had posted a link to this The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins some time ago, but Ron & Mark didn't seem to remember. So, there you have it. That'll mess with your Wednesday morning.

Also, here's a song called Hutterite Mile, which is only ok. I post it becaue it made me think of Julian Wierenga who grew up in the great white north near various Hutterite enclaves. Julian has many a side-splittingly funny Hutterite story, including a few bizarre ones about the "Hutterite Down Low" as I like to call it, which is rumored to center around shopping mall bathrooms. Seriously. You can't make this stuff up.

Here's a couple of Hutterite children pics. I want one of those hats.

I think that really captures the essence of J.R.R.Tolkien in a way that's almost breathtaking. It's too bad that Peter Jackson didn't incorporate more of this spectacular imagery into his lame attempt at The Lord of the Rings.
