Rollin' In My One-Five-O'
Yesterday I bought a new Stella scooter. I got it in the "Ice Mint Green" color. Its waiting for me at the dealer...all I need is a ride to Scenic City Scooters to pick it up. Anyone wanna give me a lift?
I'm doing this for the benefit of all Chattanooga. A fat guy on a scooter. Its funny. I have a civic duty to deliver.
Recently I dug back into some music from my junior year of highschool, in particular one band called Plankeye. It's not particularly good and its hard for me to be objective about it all, but I do enjoy it. Here's one song, "Beautiful".

Hey, just 'cause I don't think its "good" in terms of musicmanship doesn't mean I don't love it!

I just passed you on Broad street driving your new scooter. You had a huge grin on your face and Mark Cooley was laughing...

Hey, I remember Plankeye. I believe at least one of the bandmembers was OPC. Surprising, isn't it? I like their song 'goodbye.'

fat guy on a little scooter...

hmmm...opc. not too surprising. one of the few things i remember about them in an interview--i think it was in heaven's metal (now hm)--was that they called themselves calvinists. at the time it didn't mean anything to me. a few years ago it made me mad that they would take the name of calvin in lieu of the name of Christ. now...i think i can understand them a little better.
viva opc plankeye!
i used to love the song "boy." when i would pitch during high school, i always timed my pitch so i would be throwing the ball during the time the song kicked in full gear. it was rad.
now i'm stuck behind a desk all day.

Daniel it should still make you mad.
Posted by: JosiahQ at August 4, 2005 3:45 PM
Hmm, Daniel, you were thinking about the music more than your pitching. No wonder you could never throw a strike.
