Redemption Is At Hand!

I hit a funk after listening to the deplorable new Weezer album.

But alas, I remembered the new Ben Folds album hit today. Thus far, so good. "Jesusland" is a real peach. Landed, which I'm sure you should have heard already 'cause it was a pre-released single, is of course great too.

Also, some tracks from the new Sufjan 50 states project album "Illinois" have started popping up on mp3 blogs all over. You can find "Come On Feel The Illinois" here and "Chicago" here. More good stuff from Sufjan, can't wait for the full album.

Then there's the new Bruce Springsteen album which is supposed to arrive tomorrow.

In terms of live music, Eb is right. Andrew Bird is playing the Barking Legs theater. Glory!

I'm gonna have a review of the new ben folds and the ben folds five reissue in the next couple days.

One piece of advice: when liveblogging, rebuild one entry a bunch, don't spew a dozen new ones.

One piece of advice: I'll spew as many blog entries as I wanna, and if you don't like it, you can move to livejournal.

The warning signs have been springing up for a couple of years now. He's so tired of sex that he's gone celibate (according to RS). Go back to your garage, Rivers, it's where you belong.

OTOH, I'd like to read you blog the new Ben Folds. Is this his "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road"? Is John Mark Painter of Fleming & John still producing?

And Ryan, I think you really should start a livejournal or xanga. Just for giggles. I'm already chuckling at the thought.
