Ah, the Joys of Smooth Blogging

Well, our new little anti-spam script widget wizardry seems to be working well. Not only have we managed to stop a majority of the big time spammers, we've managed to reduce a significant amount of server load by not filtering the spam using perl.

So, sorry 'bout the rough riding yesterday. Stephen and I will be fine tuning the script to make sure we don't accidentally block any legit folks.

April and I are off to Montgomery today to meet up with her family to do a late Christmas. We'll be back sometime during the day on Friday. I'll have broadband access in the hotel we're staying in, which makes me happy.

I long for the days of ubiquitous wi-fi.
