Not really. I would pick VP Candidate Edwards because he's a good Democrat (and so am I), and I don't have reason to believe that he will be another Dick Cheney or George W.
I would guess that Ryan is a Republican... So far as I know, VP Candidate Edwards doesn't bamboozle the ignorant for money using hot- and cold-reading techniques. I can't imagine a mere politician stooping to Edwards-the-psychic's depths.

But on a more serious note, in my book John Edwards fits, on the moral spectrum, somewhere between pus and gangrenous pus. This is a man who makes his living - all $40-odd million of it - suing doctors. I may have to think of him as a human being, but that doesn't mean I have to like it.
