Wamp, there it is!

Here's my question: we Chattanoogans are residents of the 3rd Congressional District, and Zach Wamp is our congressman. Congressman Wamp promised some time ago that he would encourage term limit legislationa, and that he would abide by the promise to only serve 6 two year terms.

Now this year is an election year. I wanna know if Congressman Wamp is running, or not. I'm no democrat but I do expect people to abide by their promises.

I think Zach would love to push and promote this type of legislation, first and foremost. However, I don't think he wants to abandon his constituents. I think he might have hoped that Frist would be on Bush's ticket this election, and he could have jumped in to fill that void Senate seat after Bredeson's pick finished up. I don't think Zach will go anywhere, quite yet. Also look for Corker to possibly jump in the senate race sometime. Unless Frist runs into political fallout, look for him on the '08 ticket for prez.
