I desperately need to see this movie again.

It rocked my socks off.

Sam Raimi is the greatest pop cinema director working today. Spidey 2 convinced me of that. I feel like such a geek for caring too much about a summer movie, but Spidey 2 was in many ways the greatest movie I have seen in a long, long time and the first movie to ever come close to capturing the essence of the greatest superhero movie of all time, Donner's Superman. Spidey stopping the train was just about as gutwrenching to me as watching Superman turn the world around. It had just about the same degree of emotional punch.

I saw it last night, and after it was finished, went to the screen next to the one I was in and watched it again. I'm still floating.

Just got back from seeing it, and it's unbelievably amazing. Everything said about it here is true...

I feel like a dork b/c I didnt think it was that bigga deal. sure it was cool, but I enjoyed Eternal Sunshine and HP3 much more.

I thought it was an awesome movie, too. Does anyone else notice a lot of similarities between it an Superman 2? I really can't wait for X3.
