We'll All Float On

I'm only half a day listening to it, but the new Modest Mouse album "Good News for People Who Love Bad News" is a real gem. I'm a real sucker for a song with a hook, especially a melancholy one, even more one you could sing with a big group of your friends at the top of your lungs. "Float On" is such a song. Its just the type of anthemic song we'd sing at maximum volume on Catacombs while goofing off like hooligans (another example is "No Depression" by Uncle Tupelo and "Babo O'Reilly" by The Who). When you're young you get sad and all that.

I was listening to it today. I REALLY like some songs, and REALLY don't like others. Overall, very good, though...

My fave tune from them is still "Dramamine."
