14 Folding Chairs

I am in Tupelo, the birth place of Elvis this weekend, and thought I would surprise JQ by doing a little blogging.

First, let me just clear something up - I didn't come here to honor Elvis:) I came to visit my friends, Erik and Joy. Erik is currently the youth pastor of Lawndale PCA. It was so weird to have one of my peers stand up in church and lead in reading the WCOF and then pray. I can't wait for the day that I go and hear him (or one of my many other college-day buddies who are currently in seminary) preach a sermon. Man would that ever be weird!

I miss my hubby. I love him - he is a good guy.

But I have many things to keep my mind off such sappiness - like winning the youth group game of Trade Up, by coming back with 14 folding chairs and a working ceiling fan. Also, the possiblity of visiting Tupelo's Buffalo Park tomorrow tantalizes. (hmmm, maybe)
