See, That's Not Actually Funny
...or clever.
In other news: the Homeless Campus isn't going to happen. A few of the existing buildings may get used by existing homeless organizations, but there wont ever be a "campus". It's a PR stunt with no organization or muscle behind it.

agreed and agreed. although I do appreciate the inclusion of "political grandstanding and all that" in the "proclamation".

At first I thought it was funny, then I actually read it and you're right. It's . . . it's just wrong.
The homeless campus not happening makes me happy. A silver lining to an otherwise dreary, ho-hum day.

It's funny up until the point where it gets printed as a "legit" press release at the risk of further alienating a state with an actual crisis on its hands.
It's one thing when we joke amongst ourselves about the GA border bill (because well - it's retarded). It's quite another matter when Worst Mayor Ever does it in the public eye and gets ink out of it.
And if he actually follows through on this incredibly childish plan, we should immediately hold a "vote of no confidence." On second though, be my guest, Ronnie.

As a current georgian and former chattanoogan, your mayor is a tool. Also thats a good use of tax payers money...
