Senator Clinton's Campaign Song
Senator Clinton has been using Golden Earring's "When A Lady Smiles" as her campaign song. Which is, you know, great, except that the music video for the song features, among other things, a nun getting raped and a dog eating the rapist's brains.
Presidential Elections are the greatest show on earth.

Josiah, this is an interesting lead... but here's the thing: I tried to track this down, and there is zero evidence that this is actually a real story.
I followed the links back to the BoingBoing post (that apparently got the thing going initially) and at that point it all starts to become a circular argument. There's even a piece from the Huffington Post on it, but the scant links provided there are just more circular stuff.
The only thing that substantiates it at all is a reference to a quick clip that was played once-- and that clip just used a line from the verse.
Now, I could be wrong, but it seems to me that there would be something, somewhere, that would show evidence of this if it really were true. Nothing on YouTube? C'mon...
Here's my point: is it really responsible to put this up?

On second thought, I guess the name "Irresponsible Journalism" isn't just a clever, self-effacing title, but an actual disclaimer. Way to be consistent! :)
