Chattanoogans for Obama Design Competition?
Has there been another campaign with a better visual identity than Barack Obama's. The firms responsible, Sender & mo/de, have set a precedent that I hope will amount to a design-war come each election (and why not?).
How about a "Chattanoogans for Obama" logo? Perhaps the silhouette of Lookout Mountain on the horizon inside of the "O"?

I know nothing about design, but for me there is something unsettling about the Obama circle. I have not been able to put my finger on exactly why that is. Maybe it is all the old WWII movies I’ve watched in the past, and the feeling is related to the Sun on the Japanese flag. I don’t know what it is, but there is something that makes me uncomfortable about his logo.
