Leopard
Today we received 16 neat little boxes containing the latest version of Mac OS X aka "Leopard".
It is awesome. I thought we had a pretty sexy desktop version control & backup system before, but Time Machine is fantastic. We also have spotlight working on network shares, which is a little intimidating. So far we're at 12 of 16 installs/upgrades, with zero problems.

Does anyone know if there are problems with Leopard and Pro Tools?

John,
A good rule of thumb with heavy duty applications is to wait until the manufacturer (Digidesign) releases an update for the new OS. I've read that the beta worked really well with Pro Tools. But personally, I'd rather have a stable recording environment than a fancy new OS.

I switched to Mac from Windows this year and it really is excellent, but is there really anything in Leopard making it worth tapping my bank account when I already have a great version of OS X? I'll love having all the cool new stuff when I get my next computer (which will definitely be a Mac), but is time machine and spaces really worth $129?
