Marti Rutherford, Robert T. Nash, & Corruption
Marti Rutherford should either resign her position as City Councilperson or she should be prosecuted for breaking the law. She is corrupt and lacking integrity with regards to her position as a public-servant. It is absolutely a conflict of interests to create a two-sided business card with your realtor information on one side and your City Councilperson information on the other.
But before we anoint (not that I thought we would) Robert T. Nash with this months "Anti-Government Corruption" award, lets not forget that he's very close friends with Julie Chamberlain, who lost to Marti in the last election.
Lets also not forget that Marti was the swing vote in the SEIU-backed plan to raise City-employee salaries, which failed, the very same SEIU which filed the formal residency complaint against Ms. Rutherford, and was introduced to Ron Littlefield by Ward Crutchfield. I wonder if the SEIU made any "donations" to Robert T?
The great thing about local politics over state or national is that you can identify the corruption. Don't forget to register to vote.

I agree with John Wolfe. A citizen-led recall is probably the most appropriate and likely outcome of this whole debacle.
And...
Robert T. taking SEIU money? I don't see it.

Given yesterday and today's events, I wouldn't be surprised if nothing happens until Rutherford is up for re-election.
