Rwanda Rising

The Arts & Education Council is sponsoring an event wherein the film "Rwanda Rising" will be shown along with discussion afterwards with former UN Ambassador Andrew Young and the current Rwandan Ambassador to the United States, His Excellency Eng. James Kimonyo.

All proceeds from the event will go to benefit Friends of Rwanda, which sponsors orphans of the Rwandan genocide and their eduction.

The event is altogether remarkable, and the AEC has done a fantastic job in securing both this film and the speakers. You can find out more information here.
