Ward Crutchfield & Our Mayor, Ron Littlefield
If you haven't yet, you absolutely must read the FBI transcript of the conversation between former State Senator Ward "Corruption" Crutchfield and Charles "The Bagman" Love concerning our mayor, Ron Littlefield. Specifically, they discussed strategy for getting Ron elected.
Smell that? It's called corruption, and our dear Mayor is in it up to his eyeballs.
Worst Mayor Ever deserves some kind of award for getting this information.
So Ron, your friends Ward & Cotton aren't around anymore and how long can you realistically expect Al Chapman to stick around? It's gonna take more than a golf course to lock down the votes you've lost with their departure. Dan Johnson only gets you so much leeway with the GOP (no matter how many favors you do for Harold Coker).
That flash of light in the corner of your eye is your career dissipation light, and it just kicked into overdrive. (a cookie to whoever gets the reference).
Also, gotta love the shout-out to St. Elmo from Ward.

That transcript made me really uneasy. We've grown used to WME showing us the crony-ism behind Littlefield, but this kicks it up a notch. Major props to Bill Blades.
