Catch Up
The Back Row Films series is taking votes for the best director of all time. If there's a director in the list you'd like to see (don't worry Bill, I'll get Mel Gibson in there for you), let me know, I can probably get them added to the list.
Also, consider catching the August 2nd event, a showing of Documenting the Face of America.
I read Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows this past weekend. With guilty pleasures of the Potter sort it's not so much the ending that makes it worthwhile, but the getting there. The section in which Potter marches off to the Forest to meet Voldemort, believing he had to die, got me a bit teary eyed.
Other: new sites for John Henry & Chattanooga USGBC. Hill on Wheels is rolling into town August 17-19th. In 10 years I will say, "I can't believe he was my intern."
