#4, Publishing, Tri-Points
Congrats to the Mighty Munkee for having one of his photos featured on the cover of a book about Nashville.
Of the 8,700 websites on CSSMania, the website Coptix did for Clumpies is #4. Credit to Widgets for the art direction.
There's discussion that the East Main Street east of Market Street should be called "Tri-points". You know, like 5-Points (or Little Five Points), 'cept short a couple of the aforementioned "points". I'm guessing this is because of Rossville Avenue entering Main St. at an angle.
Whatever the reason, it's misguided & useless. What's it accomplish? Should we just go around branding everything willy-nilly, you know, like the "Southern Quarter". What's wrong with "East Main"?
Also, Billy at The Meeting Place makes the best damn Mint Juleps in town. They're uncalled for.

Dude, if he wasn't branding every neighborhood in sight what would Jeff Styles do for a living? You know...besides being an ass.

yeah, its ridiculous. uh, kinda reminds me...its like that time, in my neighborhood, they changed the name of the 85 year old neighborhood association for the sake of "rebranding". rebranding a community as a means of social engineering is just tom-foolery. if you don't know your past ya won't know your future.
