Ecomagination & Green Drinks
Am very much a fan of the "Jar" commercial, directed by Traktor, filmed in Patagonia, featuring the song "Catch the Wind" by Donovan, for GE's Ecomagination campaign, which is intended to promote the company as being involved in things, stuff, and initiatives sustainable.
In that vein, be sure to checkout the new Green Drinks Chattanooga website/blog. The May event is being held at Tricycle, sponsored by both AIGA50 & Tricycle, along with some kind of co-party with Floor Focus magazine.
So, if you're into sustainability, good people, and free drinks, be sure to come.

I do not like that commercial. Everything about it is very realistic until the end. But the huge gust of wind is no surprise. I know that it is supposed to be cute, but the predictability, coupled with the lack of realism, does not do it for me.
What is the message? The power of the wind? Or the transportability of that power? I have to go with the power itself, since the commercial is not for power lines.
Whatever, I just want to say that the ad does not do it for me.
On other notes:
Green Drinks looks cool.
Tricycle does something that is freaking awesome.
