I Never Get Any Free Schwag
The only free schwag I get is an overwhelming amount of invitations to business seminars from the Chamber.
Can someone explain to me the decline of Durty Nelly's? When I first moved to Chattanooga, the place was open till the wee hours, packed full, robust bourbon & whiskey menu, and had free peanuts. Now there's no peanuts, hardly anyone in there during the week and only has families on the weekends, closes at 10 pm, and I can't even get a Makers Mark! Plus, their menu has expanded to include things like quesadillas, which, if I wanted, I'd go to La Altena. Bring back the Irish Green.
I'm no fan of the now infamous Roast Beef "sculpture", but I can't say enough about the work of Cessna and Elizabeth. I simply don't understand what would posses two people to randomly smash and destroy sculptures and artwork around town.
I don't fully understand the value of jail time for a crime like this; my recommendation for punishment is to force them to attempt to duplicate Thomas Kinkade paintings while listening to Jennifer Daniel's albums (which, by the way, is the official punishment in hell for Defacers of Art & Covenant Grads With Bad Taste).

I can explain... You see the owner of Durty Nelly's decided to put up the great wall of north shore and those that were caught in West North Shore couldn't get over the wall to enjoy mediocre food and those in East North Shore resented her too much to go eat the mediocre food... AND that woman has some weird obsession with hating the french.

"I want to blanket the world with the gospel through prints."
-Thomas Kinkade
We should be lifting up our brother, not tearing him down.

Well, Lowen, it looks like he failed even by his own standards.

I heard that the ownership changed.
Durty Nelly's used to rock.
Now, not so much...

I have to correct the author of the free "cool movie schwag #1" link on this post, the term "schwag" is used incorrectly. "Schwag" according to Wikipedia, if you believe everything it says, is low quality cannabis. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schwag
I believe the author intended to use the music industry (Roadie) term "S.W.A.G" aka "Shit we ain't gettin"

According to Michael Scott, S.W.A.G. is "stuff we all get." Take that for what you will...
