One After The Other
It's just impossible for me to keep up with the proper posts and press releases for each one. And really, do you want to get three e-mails from me in a week? Didn't think so.
Last week we rolled out three new websites. Proper posts on each will come eventually, but I wanted to put them out there for you review.
The first is for local artist, Elizabeth Rogers Decosimo. The conceit of the site should be obvious: clean, minimal, fine arts, letting her work do the "talking". Click on the big images in the portfolio section for a little surprise. Yes, it was intentional that we do that without a secondary visual indication. Aside: it's amazing how much time you can spend arguing over typefaces.
The next site we released is for The Arts & Education Council. I'm a big fan of the AEC. They do two of my favorite "arts & culture" events here in Chattanooga, the Independent Film Series and the Conference on Southern Literature. We have a site in the works for their partner organization, the Fellowship of Southern writers, which will go live something near the end of January.
Finally, we did a website for The City of Lookout Mountain, GA. Having lived on the Mountain, I think they let us take a little time making sure we had some fun with the Gallery section. I hope they continue to let it grow. The Mountain is a beautiful place.

I think you meant concept, rather than conceit? Or is the artist's site supposed to be conceited? Maybe she's that good!
