Appalachian State Repeat!
For absolutely no sane reason, I follow/pull for Appalachian State in I-AA college football. Really, it's due to Damon Crumley getting me involved in this. We even made the official App State Alumni Blog.
I'm crossing my fingers for a repeat in hopes of getting to do it all again. I watched App State beat Montana State yesterday (thank you ESPN2), and they play Youngstown State next Saturday at 4.
If they beat Youngstown it's back to Finley Stadium for the championship game.
Oddly, April's cousin's roommate (get that?) is an App State grad so he (and possibly some friends) will be crashing at our place that weekend. I'm angling for some free tickets.
Now I've just gotta find myself another Santa suit. Damon, you in?
