Covenant College Freshman Initiation
I found this old video (on a long abandoned harddrive of mine) of some Carter girls hall doing their freshman initiation on Catacombs. I think the idea was that they had to kiss the Catacombian patriarch, Rob Jackson, set to the dulcet tones of Michael Jackson's "Billy Jean".
Rob Jackson was out of town that weekend, probably somewhere in South Africa (he has significant financial interests with a diamond mine there, a subsidiary of DeBeers). Rob practically only attended Covenant College part time.
Of course, this was unknown to the freshman at the time, and they ended up kissing a couple of our freshman instead. In the shower. You may recognize one Katie Mitchell towards the end of the vid.

wow, that is a blast from the past. i can't believe that was recorded. i have such vivid memories from that night. what a first encounter with catacombs!
