I found this picture buried in a box over the weekend and it brought back a ton of memories.

Naturally, I had our Scott The Intern scan it in for me. I highly recommend getting interns.

The game in question, "Battleball", was one of my fav Covenant events. Catacombs, at the time of the picture, was enjoying something like a 5 championships in a row due in no small part to the enormous turnout we'd get from our alumni.

That all changed when peopled whined and they capped the team size at 25 and no longer allowed alumni to participate. I suppose this shouldn't have been a surprise, given Covenant's institutionalized policy of alienating its alumni.

I love that the crazy Ukrainian Jonathan Stanton is in that pic, and Andy Vierling (whatever happened to that guy?). "The Worm" strikes a pose next to Gosey, and Mason with a hockey stick is still intimidating after all these years. I also wonder if Blessing Oguntabi ever found out that she became a catacombs icon?

This may have been the game where Elnathan er, El Nathan, ElNathan, El'Nathan... still not sure how to spell it, challenged me to some kind of duel.
