Thompson Eye Care
I've been meaning to blog about this for awhile, for a couple of reasons, one of them being that a couple of folks have asked me (I think given my near-legal blindness) to recommend a good optometrist in Chattanooga.
So who I use (and quite a few friends these days it seems) is Aaron Thompson, who has his practice setup in the Wal-Mart over of Brainerd Road. He's friendly, fast, and affordable. He doesn't push you to buy cheap frames from Wal-Mart or anything like that, and will hook you up with your prescription and all sorts of recommendations on where to get good frames.
Oh, and by the way, that's Aaron in the back of the picture; that's his wife Fran up front. I didn't have a picture of just Aaron.

Yes! I totally agree. When I had an appointment with him last November, it was the week Uncle Rudy died, and he expressed his condolences. He also gave me a bunch of free contact solution and the good neighbor discount. It was easily the best optometrist visit I've ever had (which actually isn't saying much, but seriously, it was great.)

you have hit upon a gold mine. aaron thompson is the best optomotrist in the business. not only is he great at fixing your eyes, he's nice eye candy to look at in the process!
