We just got an email here at Pitchfork with a link to this blog....because of the Sufjan xmas album. My editor was talking about finding it on a blog...and i looked at her inbox to see your web address. It's a small indie blogger world.

"Parade" is freakin' genius...

Hey, Josiah... actually wanted to comment about Sufjan Stevens- but dere was no way to do it...
Here are a few more ideers for different Christmas albums that are way good.
Christmas with the Cambridge Singers - cut and paste the link - (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0000031HF/qid=1133558984/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/002-3063001-8879243?v=glance&s=classical) They have a LOT of Christmas music out there, but THIS is their first- and best IMHO. Call your independent bookstore - or order from Collegium/American Grammaphone records in Omaha, Nebraska.
Also check out Peter Pupping's Gloria! Wonderful Christmas motets and carols on classical guitar. He's on iTunes (no Amazon link), though the samples are of poor quality.
