Well, There's Always The Pistons

The loss nearly ruined my weekend. Sickening thing was I saw it coming. Up by 9 with 8 to play I looked over at David and said "now we're going to lose, it'll be a touchdown and then a fieldgoal with seconds left". Best shot now is the music city bowl in Nashville I think. Be fun to head up there for the game.

I think the sheer exhaustion I was experience due to the all-night cre824 website design contest numbed me from the full effects of the loss. I'm going to do my best to forget it, instead taking pleasure in the fact Mark, myself, and James made this. The theme of the contest was "The World 50 Years from Now: to act or not to act" and that site was what we came up with. Yes, I was drinking deep the Brave New World & 1984 kool-aid.

And yes, I realized we misspelled "resurrection". It was 5 in the morning, alright?

There's a number of rewards that come with being a Pistons fan. The least of which not being the poignant prose of one Rasheed Wallace. How can you not love a guy who says things like this:

"I'm telling you, Darko is a Serbian gangster," Rasheed Wallace said. "Darko's got some bodies back there (in Serbia-Montenegro). He can go psycho on guys."

Don't think for a second the 37 point pummeling by Dallas is indicative of anything less than Detroit making another title run. Our bench, the single weakness of last years team, is deeper and more experienced. A loss like that would crush any team other than an undefeated (until that point) Detroit.

December 2nd's game agains the Knicks is going to be a choice 'Sheed night. Party at my house!

How was cr824? Did you see Rose and Albrecht? If you haven't checked out their videocast/podcast diggnation , then you are missing out on some good times... Also, digg.com is a good tech site.
