They're Cancelling Arrested Development

Well, crap. There goes my day. The best show on television. Gone. There's a dedicated to fighting the good fight.

Also, by all means, Free Annyong

...Just the latest in a long line of quality shows axed by impatient studio dorks.

Gotta go, I TiVo'd "According to Jim!"

Yeah but did you see the last episode? Some of the stuff they said - sexual innuendos - man, I couldn't believe they got away with it.

Now I don't usually get all worked up about a tv show; but Arrested Development is/was Fun. Ny.

This sucks.

Wonderfalls was even better and they cancelled it much more quickly than Arrested Development. That's the way it goes - Fox giveth and Fox taketh away.

Comedies are tough - they should have put it on at 7:00 on Sunday nights. But instead they were going up against Desperate Housewives and other 1 hour dramas that probably have similar audiences... It represents a failure of marketing, scheduling, and patience.

I've told everyone I know about "Arrested Development" from the very beginning. I even implored my students to watch it. Very few did, apparently. You know "King of the Hill" is also expected to end, right? And we all know "The Simpsons" is not what it used to be. It's like having two children slowly die and one go astray...

Technically, they've cancelled only the second best show on television, since it's mathematically impossible that this show is better than Nip/Tuck.

hey J, I have the customer comment line and some names to call on my blog. Please spread the word around to call and leave a message to try to persuade them not to cancel it. How long has it been since Fox had an emmy award winning show? not to mention 5 emmys...
