Update On The Dubles

I just received this e-mail from Marshall Rowe

Troy and Sarah would like to express their deep gratitude to the alumni and friends who have shown such concern and compassion for them in the last two days following the death of their son Noah. There is still uncertainty as to why Noah collapsed but they hope to know more in the next couple of days as they get reports back. Troy, Sarah and the kids left with Troy's parents this afternoon to drive back from New Hampshire which is a 20 hour drive. At this point the details of what is to come is still a little uncertain as they continue to work out the details.

The services will be held at Rock Creek Fellowship on Durham Road on Lookout Mountain. While the times are still uncertain, it will most likely be some time this weekend. If you would like to send them a card, please send it to their home at 438 Valentine Drive, Lookout Mountain, 30750. If you live locally and you would like to cook a meal for the Duble family, please contact Tracy Blea who is coordinating all the meals at 423-432-0444. In lieu of flowers, the Dubles would prefer that gifts be made to the Duble Endowed Scholarship (Covenant College, Lookout Mountain, GA 30750). As we get more details on funeral times, we will post them to the website at www.covenant.edu/dubles

Please continue to keep the Dubles in your prayers, particularly in the next couple of days as they drive back and try to put together the plans for the services with family and friends coming to town. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

I'm sure this will be up on the Covenant website soon, but here's what we're sending out to Rock Creek Fellowship:

A Prayer Gathering for the Dubles at Rock Creek Fellowship
Friday Evening, August 12 at 6:30 pm.

A Memorial Service for Noah Duble at Rock Creek Fellowship
Sunday Afternoon, August 14 at 4:00 pm

The Dubles wish for all to feel welcome to attend both the memorial service and the graveside service afterwards

Graveside Service following at Mount Olive Cemetery (on Mount Olive Road, Lookout Mountain)

We have detailed directions to RCF for people coming from all directions. If you need them, you can e-mail us: rockcreek weichbrodt org. You insert the necessary dots.
