Bill Holmberg Has Died
Bill Holmberg, the husband of Ruth Holmberg, has passed away. The cool new glass pedestrian bridge connecting the Hunter and new riverfront was dedicated to them. I knew/know them both from my time working at La Dolce Vita. He and Mrs. Holmberg were kind, friendly, and incredibly generous with their time. Both used to work at the New York Times and at the Times Free Press (then just the Chattanooga Times).

So help me if I hear any "good riiddance" comments about Mr. Holmberg's passing from certain perennially disgruntled Chattanooga conspiracy theorists/loudmouths.
...I fear it's already happened, however.
I'll leave it at that.
