The F.B.Aiiight & Sufjan
So today I was questioned by an F.B.I. agent in the office. So was Brent, Stephen, and Jeffrey. Has nothing to do with any sortof personal shenanigans I may or may not have pulled, but everything to do with Josh reaching the final stages (i.e. "the background check") of the application process for becoming an F.B.I. agent. I'd say the odds are close to certain that he'll get in, which makes me sad 'cause I hate change and I hate loosing someone I feel like I'm just getting to know.
Josh' kind-of sort-of but not really replacement James Long started yesterday, and he's taking to things right quick. He's certainly got the necessary sense of humor, hip shoes, or birkenstock sandals needed to work at a place like Coptix.
Our design intern Kyle finally decided to show up today. There was some miscommunication on his start date (I'll take the blame for that one), but we sorted it all out when we ran into each other last night at Steele's bachelor party. Now that I think about it, I think I'm gonna try to go out for drinks the night before any new employee starts working. Get a sense of the stuff they're made out of.
Finally, the new Sufjan album "Illinois" is heartbreakingly good, anthemically good, over-used cliched phrases good. Checkout the song "Chicago". Will somebody find me a church that does its music even half as compelling as this stuff?

James & Kyle: both former hallmates of mine. Use them well.
Also, Kyle used to have this standing challenge to wrestle anyone who was willing--even guys three times his size. I saw him take on a CC basketball player in our commons one night: 6'3" 200 lbs to Kyle's 5' 8" 130. Kyle almost got killed, but MAN what scrap!

Josiah, did you listen to the whole album or just that song? do you have the new album? if so, how did you get it already?

All Angels' Episcopal, Broadway and W 80th St. Music is great, though the song selection could use a little work.

Have I graduated that long ago, where names aren't sounding familiar anymore? I remember my 1 semester stint in maclelland where we had a couple 'hall wrestling' nights. Lots of fun and even bloodshed at times... Man those were the days.
