The Best NPR Station
is most definitely KCRW in Santa Monica. Checkout their "Morning Becomes Eclectic" show. Incredible performances by everyone from Wilco to Andrew Bird, live and with amazing quality.
Something like this in Chattavegas would be amazing. Unfortunately Mark Colbert and "Dr. John McToolbox" are buffoons.
Anyone notice any format changes recently, as in, the late evening? Exactly.

I go to bed too early to know what late-evening changes you mean. Care to enlighten?

Man, I was thinking that the removal of Joshua Daniels was just a "fundraising week" exception. But tell me it isn't so... Is he really gone? Who can I turn to when I need the hip new angle on the pop world? Who to introduce Sigur Ros, Iron and Wine, Decemberist, on and on. And what's with the total amatuer deep voiced impostor??? I guess until I plunk the money for the ipod and car radio connecdtion - my evening rides got that much lonlier...
