Everybody Register Your Guns & Blogs
Today is already feeling surreal what with Daylight Savings time, but then I've gotta read things like this. San Fran is hands down my fav city in the US, but this just knocked it down a few notches. "Register your blogs", that's ridiculous.
Ooooo, here's a fun rumor:
Ron Littlefield If Elected Mayor Promises to Require All Chattanooga Bloggers to Register Their Blogs With The City

I just read about that this morning. From what I could glean from it, it appears as though SF is worried about the political influence than blogs have in the political realm (primarily elections). In other words, if I were to blog about ann coultier, I would be fine (because i receive little-no traffic), but if you were to blog about her, you would have to register and disclose some information to make sure ann isn't giving you kickbacks for mentioning her name.

would a hug count as a kickback?

Yeah, this is bad. I hope some A-list blogger gets nailed for this, because it won't be until then that this bad law gets thrown out.

a hug, probably not. I think you'd have to make it to at least second base for it to be considered a kickback.

Not that that's going to happen, because we all know that Josiah Roe is gay. (way to start a viscious rumor)
